A couple years ago Dad's old band put out a concept album. They always said it was dealing with mental health and the ghosts of your past. They didn't hide that Dad inspired it. Sure. Fine. I haven't been posting a lot from the road, but it's been an incredible time. I'm still dealing with my PPD, because it doesn't just vanish even with medication. And I'm dealing with all the issues that were there before I was even pregnant. I'm struggling every day. It's been hard being on tour,  but it gets easier day by day. I see my kids every day, I see them thriving, I see them in a new light that isn't filtered by the light of my own mental illness. They are amazing kids. I'm really lucky.

I was having a bad day yesterday. Weaning off of breastfeeding is something you need to do a certain way, and I hadn't quite done it right. Woke up engorged and aching and had to figure out how to express while also prepping for the meet and greet and sound check...
